Throughout the entire time, she was knowledgeable, caring, informative, and she always looked out for our best interests. She taught us so much along the way and made sure we were confident in every decision and offer we made. Buying in this market was not for the faint of heart but somehow Monique made it fun and now we have the house of our dreams. Upon a strong recommendation, I contacted Monique Nickels for the sale of my home. I had taken a job in another city and needed someone I could trust to handle all the details. After our initial (remote) meetings I was satisfied that Monique was capable, experienced, and most importantly, that she truly understood my concerns and goals for the sale. Upon completing contract formalities, Monique set about setting up services that I needed: movers, junk removal, cleaners, painters, house staging and inspectors. She used her network of contacts to find local contractors, met with them personally at my house (remember: I am in another city), and provided me multiple quotes for each service. We reviewed the quotes on the phone together, and her feedback on the quotes & contractors was invaluable (lowest price is not always the best deal). As with most things, there were issues that came up while preparing the house for listing. This is where Monique’s strengths and experience really started to show. We had a series of discussions on what should be done to maximize my return on any repair investments. In the end, her guidance on additional improvements to maximize market value proved to be spot-on. Again, her network was invaluable, and she set about getting quotes for landscaping and other improvements, and reviewed them with me for approvals. My house sold in February 2020, and I am writing this review a year later. Monique recently called to ask if I needed any closing paperwork copies for filing taxes. This is representative of the level of detail, service, and professionalism Monique has displayed throughout all of my dealings with her. In short, with no exaggeration, Monique is the best realtor I have ever worked with, period. When a friend needed to sell his house, of course I recommended her. I have known Monique for awhile. I was looking for houses years ago. When it came time to sell my parents house I could think of no one better. She is patient and kind and helped me through the whole process which was very hard since loosing my father. She was so kind. I would recommend her to anyone.

I am embarrassed it's taken me so long to write this, but I am finally taking the time to sit down and write about what a wonderful realtor and overall person that Monique is. She helped my husband and I sell our condo a couple years ago before we relocated to the bay area. The process was seamless and we were so honored to have met her. She was kind, attentive, and honest throughout the entire process. After 2 years, we wanted to move back to Redlands but I was very pregnant, which made trips down to SoCal to look at houses a little more cumbersome. Monique helped take so much stress out of the whole process. We found our dream home and put an offer in before even seeing it in person. We trusted her completely and she went above and beyond taking detailed videos of our house. It felt like we were really there! 4 months later and we couldn't be happier with our home with our new little family. Monique is amazing to work with. After the passing of my husband, I considered a move. I was not sure if I was going to bring my mom with me, therefore getting a larger place with in-law quarters or a place for just myself and 3 young sons. She made contacts and showed me every house I wanted to view and several she found for me. She toured my current home so we could be ready to sell at a moment's notice. Monique is very professional and never rushed me or complained about my indecisiveness. She showed me home after home over a period of just under a year. After deciding to stay put (for now) she was loving, understanding and respectful of my decision. She continues to check on me and keep me updated on several of the houses that caught my eye. The first time I met Monique, I could tell right away that I was going to like her. I was totally right. She's so nice, yet is always professional. She listened to and remembered everything my husband and I had to say, and was great at helping us to refine our house hunt little by little until we found houses we liked. She was honest with us and did not let us make mistakes on our first time buying a home. She NEVER made us feel pressured. In fact, I would put pressure on myself and she would talk me down. On our last day searching, we both woke up feeling that we were going to find "the one" and we actually found 2 that my husband and I had trouble picking between! We found the perfect starter home for our growing family, even though I took her a bit out of her usual geographical zone! She can do anything!
